I was looking for a protective coating for my new S1000RR Msport so that it would be easier to keep clean. I contacted the guys at Supremecoat and they were really keen to show me thier new products. This was a newly formulated ceramic coating for your visor which once applied they guarantee for two years as that was the life expectancy on a vehicle windscreen. Once applied it makes the surface really smooth (like glass) and stops water and bugs etc from sticking to the visor. It also has an anti glare coating and makes the visor scratch resistant to 9H (as testd by Boeing). This product is designed to allow ridrs to see better in the rain and therefore ride more safely. I have had a chance to test it in the wet and it really works!

This is a Nano ceramic coating which they have had specially made to go over anythig! paint, plastics, exhausts, stickers, decals, protective films.. anyhing. It forms what they call a super hydrophobic effect preventing water and dirt from sticking to the treated areas. This allows you to simply hose off the bike and wash any dirt off. A quick dry with an air line and an e cloth and thats your cleaning done. I went out on the RR and it was filthy when I got back due to the apalling stat of the roads. It was covered in mud thands to a delivery driver driving into a muddy ditch and showering me in muddy water. I got home and tested the new coating. I used the normal hose with the spray attachment and simply rinsed off all the dirt. I couldn't believe how easy it was. Then dried it with the air line and watched all the tinly beads of water just roll off to the the floor. A quik once over with an ecloth and it was sparking once more.

Not only does it make your bike easy to clean its also scratch resistant up to 9H and UV resistant. I am extremely impressed with both products and would highly recomment them. However once the coat is applied there is no removing it! So make sure your bike is spotless before applying as any marks or dirt will be sealed in forever! You do get a lifetime guarantee though.
